Corona offers residents a wealth of things to see and do. Within the 38-square mile city limits, there are over 115 acres of neighborhood parks and 200 acres of community and sports parks with a variety of facilities for indoor and outdoor recreation including soccer and baseball fields, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts, picnic areas and trails. Those closest to Silverwood include Border Park, Butterfield Park, Cresta Verde Park, Husted Park, Mountain Gate Community Park and Santana Regional Park.
Cresta Verde, Eagle Glen, Green River and Mountain View are the four 18-hole public golf courses serving the immediate area.
Heritage Park at 510 West Foothill Parkway is a historic resource dedicated to preserving community interest in Corona's 100-year-old history.
Other special attractions include the Inline Sports Center; the Corona Public Library; Edwards Movie Theatres; the Laser Family Fun Center; Tilt, a full-service video game arcade; and the Fender Museum of Music and Arts at 365 N. Main. This 33,000 square foot building is a museum and educational facility with classrooms, a recording studio and outdoor amphitheater.
